‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2’ box office collection day 5 update

According to the Sacnilk trade report, this comedy drama sequel opened with Rs 1.85 crore on Friday. Thereafter, the numbers were slightly better during the weekend. The Saturday collection stood at Rs 2.5 crore, and on Sunday, with further growth, the movie made Rs 2.9 crore. Then came the first Monday, when every movie sees a dip, ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2’ was no exception either. It collected Rs 90 lakhs at the box office on its day 4, Monday. Now, the early estimates suggest that Tuesday was better, as the film was able to make Rs 1 crore. And with this, the total net collection of ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2’ stands at Rs. 9.15 crore. If it maintains a steady pace, soon the film will cross the Rs 10 crore mark.

‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2’ day 5 - occupancy rate

There was a better footfall on day 5. The occupancy figures on Tuesday stood at 35.19 per cent, marking a growth from Monday’s numbers, which were 17.49 per cent. The day began with 10.39 per cent, which rose to 34.22 per cent in the afternoon shows. Further, in the evening, the rate went upto 37.52 per cent, and the night shows recorded the maximum occupancy of 58.62 per cent.

Competition from ‘Dhurandhar’ and ‘Akhanda 2: Thaandavam’

The Kapil Sharma starrer is competing with ‘Dhurandhar’ and ‘Akhanda 2: Thaandavam’. The former features Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sara Arjun, Arjun Rampal and more. From day 1, this action drama has been ruling the box office and, to date, is showing no signs of slowing down. Ahead of its third week, the film has crossed Rs 400 crore in business.

Meanwhile, Balakrishna Nandamuri’s ‘Akhanda 2: Thaandavam’ continues to impress in southern markets and is heading towards the Rs. 100 crore mark.
