’ is earning big bucks at the box office. The revenge drama opened to a decent figure of Rs 7 crore and after a successful weekend it has emerged well on its first Monday as well. According to a latest report on Boxofficeindia.com, ‘Marjaavaan’ collected Rs 4 crore on Monday, after registering a minor drop of a little above 40 per cent. The film registered a drop in collections in Delhi NCR and Punjab but worked well in multiplexes in Mumbai, Pune and Kolkata, stated the report.
‘Marjaavaan’ stands at a collection of Rs 27.75 crore and according to Boxofficeindia.com, the film should rake in a total collection of Rs 37-38 crore nett at the end of its first week at the box office. If this happens then ‘Marjaavaan’ will beat Sidharth Malhotra’s 2014 release ‘
Hasee Toh Phasee
’ , which had made a lifetime collection Rs 36.56 crore.
‘Marjaavaan’ will face some competition from ‘Pagalpanti’ this Friday, but if it manages to hold well then this Milap Zaveri directorial will emerge as a big hit at the box office. ‘Marjaavaan’ features Riteish Deshmukh in the role of a vertically challenged villain while
