Marjaavaan box office early estimates: Sidharth Malhotra’s revenge drama collects approximately Rs 7 crore on day one

’ has opened to a decent box office collection on its first day at the box office. According to a report on Boxofficeindia.com, early estimate suggests that it collected approximately Rs 6.50-7 crore nett on day one.Despite mixed reviews ‘Marjaavaan’ seems to have struck a chord with the audience. The report stated that the film received a positive response in Maharashtra, Gujarat, CP Berar, Nizam, UP and Bihar. However ‘Marjaavaan’ didn’t earn well at big multiplex chains and metros, but smaller multiplexes and single screens have earned well in mass circuits.

A collection of Rs 6.50-7 crore is considered good for ‘Marjaavaan’, however the collection may not grow massively on Saturday. According to the report, ‘Marjaavaan’ will earn Rs 15 core across India in the first three days, even with a flat weekend the film is expected to rake in atleast Rs 10 crore. The earnings are expected to grow in metro multiplexes on Saturday.

Directed by Milap Zaveri, ‘Marjaavaan’ features Riteish Deshmukh in the role of a vertically challenged villain.
