'Notebook' box office collection Day 3: The Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Bahl starrer sees a dull first weekend

Salman Khan's production 'Notebook' starring debutants Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Bahl in the lead roles hasn't been able to set the cash registers ringing at the box office. Off to a slow start, the movie saw a dull first-weekend collection. The first weekend collection of the film is a little higher than the opening day of 'Loveyatri'. The film hit the screens on March 29.

According to the latest report on the Boxofficeindia.com, on Sunday, the film has raked in a total of Rs 1.10 crore on its third day at the box office. The film has managed to collect a total of Rs 2.50 crore in three days at the box office.

The plot of the film revolves around the unusual love story between two teachers who fell in love without seeing each other with the help of a diary. The romantic drama set in the beautiful locales of Kashmir.

Zaheer Iqbal is the son of Salman Khan's childhood friend Iqbal. He has also worked as an assistant director in Salman's film 'Jai Ho'. Pranutan is the granddaughter of legendary actor Nutan and the daughter of Mohnish Bahl.
