Pushpa 2’s Hindi collection continues to dominate over Telugu version at the end of first month

Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa 2, directed by Sukumar continues its dominance at the box office even as it completes a month. The film has already gone on to become the highest grossing film of Indian Cinema, beating SS Rajamouli and Prabhas’s Baahubali 2- The Conclusion which held on its record for almost 8 years.

Taking a closer look at the overall collection of the film, one can see that it has been the Hindi version, which has contributed majorly to the overall collection of the film. At this point, the Hindi version's collection (Rs 785.65) is more than two times of its Telugu version ( Rs 333.51 crore), With the total collection of the film now standing at Rs 1199 crore, Trade Analyst Komal Nahta shares that the difference between Hindi collection and Telugu collection is only because of the capping of ticket prices in the Telugu belt, and there are no such restrictions on Hindi belt.


Pushpa 2 has also become the highest grossing film in Hindi beating this year’s biggest Hindi film Stree 2 which starred Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in the lead which had collected nearly Rs 600 crore.


The makers have announced the third installment of the film in the climax of the second part. The third part has been titled as Pushpa 3- The Rampage, and it will be another 2-3 years before the film goes on floors. Also Allu Arjun who has been in his Pushpa look for almost 4 years, has finally chopped his hair and beard, stating he will now be working on other films, and it will be a while before he comes back to set the box office on wildfire.
