Zaira Wasim’s second film with mentor
Aamir Khan has captured the imagination of the nation once again as the film proceeded to have a steady weekend at the box-office.
Also Read: Secret Superstar Movie Review According to a latest report on BoxOfficeIndia.com, ‘Secret Superstar’ brought in Rs 8.5 crore on Sunday, capping off its first weekend collections and taking the total to Rs 30.75 crore. The film opened with decent collections of Rs 4.75 crore on day one, followed by almost doubling its tally to Rs 9 crore on day two and Rs 8.5 crore on day three.
The film focuses on the story of Insia Malik (Zaira), who is a 15-year-old school girl from Baroda who finds it difficult to nurture her talent in a setting where spirit is ripped by her father. The film has opened to rave reviews and a positive word of mouth from the audiences has only helped in pulling viewers to the cinema halls.
