‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’ box-office collection Day 3: Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar’s film maintains a steady graph

Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar’s film earned Rs 5.75 crore on Sunday, reports BoxofficeIndia.com. The film’s collection grew by Rs 25 Lacs from Saturday and stands tall at Rs 13.89 crore.

The film opened to Rs 2.64 crore on Friday and more than doubled its collection on Saturday by earning Rs 5.50 crore. The growth in the film’s earnings was attached to the positive word of mouth and raving reviews from the critics, and a national holiday for Bakri Eid.
Ayushmann and Bhumi are hot after both their respective films ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ and ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ tasted major success at the box-office last month. The film also stars Seema Pahwa, Brijendra Kala, Shubhankar Tripathi and Anshul Chauhan in other pivotal roles.

‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’ is a remake of 2013 Tamil film ‘Kalyana Samayal Saadham’, which also focussed on a man’s issues with erectile dysfunction. This is Ayushmann and Bhumi’s second film together, the first being the latter’s Bollywood debut in 2015.
