According to a recent report on BoxofficeIndia.com, 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety' has collected another Rs 4.50 crore on its fifth day, taking its total to Rs 35.25 crores.

‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ has already become one of the biggest openings in the smaller budget films. The film is a lighthearted approach to counter gender stereotypes in modern relationships and it's also the fourth collaboration of director Luv Ranjan with Nushrat Bharucha and Kartik Aryan. They have earlier worked together in 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama', 'Akaash Vani' and 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2'.

The plot of the film revolves around Titu, who is caught between his best friend (Sonu) and girlfriend (Sweety) and what we see is a laugh riot as the two are against each other.
