Vikas Bahl directorial 'Super 30' starring Hrithik Roshan playing the titular role of mathematician Anand Kumar is done well in its first week at the box office. The film had a fair opening but managed to pick up over the weekend and hold well on the weekdays. The holds are good on the weekdays, however, the numbers are less due to that not so great opening.

According to the latest report on the Boxofficeindia.com, on Thursday, the film has managed to rake in a total of Rs 5.75 crore on its seventh day at the box office. The film has managed to collect a total of Rs 75.50 crore in its first week at the box office.



After the film was exempted from GST in the state of Bihar, a similar decision was taken by the Rajasthan government on Thursday. Calling the film inspirational and an excellent example of exceptional willpower and determination, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot announced that the film will be made tax-free in the state.

The film is based on the life of Patna-based mathematician-professor Anand Kumar, who is known for his initiative '

Super 30

' which teaches underprivileged and economically backward kids for the IIT entrance exams free of cost.

Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film also stars Mrunal Thakur, Nandish Sandhu and Pankaj Tripathi in pivotal roles. The film hit the screens on July 12.
