marked his Bollywood debut today with ‘
Tadap
’, co-starring
Tara Sutaria. Going by the early trend, the film has started off on a good note. According to the latest report on Boxofficeindia.com, ‘Tadap’ recorded a positive trend with around 20 per cent occupancy. The film’s morning shows are better than both of last week’s releases ‘Satyameva Jayate 2’ and ‘Antim - The Final Truth’. With a debutant leading the film, ‘Tadap’ has taken off on a good start at the box office.
Speaking about Ahan’s debut, Suniel Shetty had exclusively told ETimes, “As a parent, it does feel like Ahan’s birthday. He is stepping into a new world, where receiving acceptance is actually a long way. I am praying that my son gets accepted in showbiz. So far the trailers and the songs are doing extremely well. People have been showering with so much love and support. But yeah, as a parent, I am anxious too. I am looking forward to this budding new actor. I’ve seen the film, I am happy with it, but yeah Ahan’s happiness matters the most to me”.
Directed by Milan Luthria, this action entertainer is an official remake of hit Telugu drama ‘RX 100’, which starred Kartikeya Gummakonda in the lead role. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala had hosted a grand premiere for 'Tadap' in Mumbai ahead of the film's theatrical release. The starry screening was attended by
Salman Khan, KL Rahul, Aayush Sharma, Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia Deshmukh, Khushi Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Sanjay Kapoor, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor and Gulshan Grover among others.
