The Kamakhya Narayan Singh directorial witnessed a growth in numbers at the box office as compared to its first-day collection. According to the Sacnilk report, it collected Rs 0.75 on Day 1. Meanwhile, the film has raked in Rs 4.65 crore at the box office on its Day 2 in theaters. With that, the total earnings of the movie stand at Rs 5.40 crore.Occupancy

Petitions were filed against 'The Kerala Story 2' after the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) granted a U/A 16+ certificate to the movie. Initially, a single-bench judge of the Kerala High Court stayed the release of the film, citing that it might cause law and order issues, along with disrupting harmony in society. The judge also criticized the Censor Board for granting a U/A certificate to the movie. However, the makers quickly appealed the decision.
