'Tiger Zinda Hai' box-office collection week 3: Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer collects Rs 27 crore

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s 'Tiger Zinda Hai' arrived with a bang and has been dominating the box-office ever since its release. According to a recent report on Boxofficeindia.com, the Ali Abbas Zafar helmed film had another huge week adding Rs 27 crore approximately in the third week, taking its total collections to Rs 318.50 crore. The drop in the third week is 68% which is very strong considering the previous week was a holiday week.

The story of ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ revolves around the real incident of the hostage of Indian nurses by ISIL in 2014.The expensive film has been shot on a large scale amid the locales of Abu Dhabi, Austria, Greece and Morocco. It takes forward the franchise after the original 2012 flick ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ which nailed the super hit jodi of Salman and Katrina.

The film also has other popular songs besides the super hit ‘Swag Se Swagat’ which include the theme song ‘Zinda Hai’, the Salman-Katrina romantic number ‘Dil Diyan Gallan’, ‘Daata Tu’ and ‘Tera Noor’.
