Indra Kumar has been successful in tickling the funny bones of the audience yet again with the third instalment of his popular ‘
Dhamaal
’ franchise, titled,
Total Dhamaal’. The multistarrer, which had the highest first weekend collection at the box-office, received mixed reaction from the audience and critics alike.
According to the report in BoxofficeIndia.com, the comic caper grossed Rs 8.50 crore at the box-office on its fifth day on Tuesday, taking its overall total to Rs 79.50 crore.

The plot of the film revolves around ten people who are on an adventure, risking their lives for Rs 50 crore worth jackpot. Shot in water, land, desert, and sky, the cast finds themselves in the Janakpur zoo to get hold of the bumper prize.
Apart from the original star cast of Ajay Devgn, Ritesh Deshmukh,
Arshad Warsi and others, ‘
Total Dhamaal
’ also starred
Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit-Nene in pivotal roles. Anil and Madhuri came together on the silver screen for this movie after many years and it was an absolute treat for their fans to watch them share the same old ease and chemistry with each other.
The film hit the theatres on Febraury 22, 2019.
