Uri: The Surgical Strike' directed by debutant director Aditya Dhar and starring
Yami Gautam as the female lead is continuing its victorious run at the box office. The film has emerged out as the first Bollywood movie of 2019 to cross the Rs 100 crore mark. After impressing the audience in the past with his acting skills, Vicky Kaushal managed to hit the perfect spot with this film and now finds himself in the center of all the appreciations. The film which released on January 11 has turned out as a big success at the box office.

' will be remade in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam languages. The rights of the film have been sold at a higher prices.
The film is based on the surgical strikes carried out on September 29, 2016, by the Indian Army on terrorist launchpads across the Line of Control. The strikes were carried out in retaliation to a terrorist attack on an army camp at Uri earlier that month.
Written and directed by Aditya Dhar, 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' is produced by
Ronnie Screwvala. 'Uri' was announced by the producer after one year of the surgical strike in September 2017. The film also stars Paresh Rawal, Kirti Kulhari, and
Mohit Raina in lead roles.
