Jytoika would pack THIS in tiffin for her husband Suriya
Actress Jyotika was last seen in Rajkummar Rao led Srikanth is all set to step into the world of OTT with her latest release Dabba carte- backed by Farhan Akhtar, Shibani Akhtar and Ritiesh Sidhwani. Jytohika is a name to reckon with in Tamil Cinema thanks to her films like Kushi, Dumm Dumm Dumm, Poovellam Un Vasam, Kaakha Kaakha, Perazhagan and Chandramukhi.
In an exclusive interview with ETimes, the actress shared the earliest memory of her dabba, she said , “ My school tiffin, it would usually be ‘Aloo ka paratha’ . But my biggest memory of tiffin is shooting in Chennai, because I went from Mumbai and I used to eat from tiffins that would come on the sets and there used to be so many varieties and vegetarian food is very good in the south. “
She also revealed that if she had to pack a tiffin for her husband Suriya she would pack a typical south indian fare with dosa, idli, sambhar , vada, pongal etc, the reason being that he usually doesn't get to eat it as he’s on diet.
Jytoika also shared that if someone has to surprise her with a food dish in her tiffin it would be Butter Chicken and Curd Rice. Reacting to it- Shabana Azmi stated that she has never seen such two diverse and deadly North Indian and South Indian combinations ever.
She also opened up on what she would pack in tiffin for her two kids Dev and Diya and she said , “That is a list. One’s lunch box goes at 5.30 in the morning. And the other one’s box goes at 12. They have different lunch timings. One likes non-veg a lot and the other likes veg. So it's always a variation. But today's food like pasta etc so it is basically homemade .non-veg and Italian”
