During a special event commemorating the 100-day run of '12th Fail' in theaters, the filmmaker, engaged in a discussion with Vikrant Massey, recalled a conflict he had with another producer due to noise disturbances from their set interrupting his shoot.

The filmmaker said that they were filming an emotional scene when a show started next to their set. He stopped the shoot and told his whole crew to come with him. He walked 40-50 people to the other set, and the guards moved away. Chopra instructed, "Remove whatever plug this is." The unidentified producer retorted, "You're being a bully," to which Chopra responded sharply, "I'll break your head!" Asserting his stance, he exclaimed, "This is Film City, where cinema is made. What nonsense are you all indulging in?" As the students cheered in support, he urged them to draft a letter, which he would sign, to cease the disturbance.

Adapted from Anurag Pathak's book, '12th Fail' portrays the life of Manoj Kumar Sharma, who triumphed over dire poverty to achieve the rank of IPS officer. The film accentuates the pivotal role played by his wife, IRS officer Shraddha Joshi, in his journey to success.
