A film treat for the Chief Minister

On the occasion of Women's Day (March 8), the UNFPA (United Nations Population Fund) is organising a film screening at Sahyadri, the annexe attached to the Chief Minister Prithviraj Chauhan’s residence. It will be an exclusive screening for the wives of MLAs, MPs, and the bureaucrats. Also present will be the Governor's wife and the Health Minister. sensitiseThe film titled Lessons in Forgetting which stars Adil Husain of English Vinglish and Life of Pi fame, deals with sensitive issues like female foeticide and genderviolence. It’s a story about a girl who stumbles upon a female foeticide racket and while trying to bust it, gets gang-raped, subsequently slipping into a coma.The father of the girl (played by Adil) is clueless about what led to such a disaster and tries to traceher journey.
