Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding celebrations began almost a month ago with a low-key and private Nandi Pooja ceremony at the bride’s home in Bengaluru. And the festivities concluded on a rocking, high-pitch note on Saturday night, with a bash for the couple’s Bollywood colleagues and friends in Mumbai. The night saw several things beautiful and a few firsts, too.

Arjun Kapoor, on the other hand, arrived sans the mask he has been wearing lately to cover his Panipat look. The actor’s hairdo was still hidden, but don’t miss the moustache…it might remind you of his baba’s (Ranveer) mooch in Bajirao Mastani. The Kapoor girls — Anshula and Khushi — turned up colour coordinated. Katrina Kaif arrived in a gold sari while Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt remained MIA from the celebrations.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali posed for the shutterbugs along with Farah Khan. In the meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan, became the man of the moment on the red carpet. He first posed with his begum
Kareena Kapoor Khan, and just as he was moving away, his sister Soha and husband Kunal Kemmu walked, and the four of them posed for a family picture. Saif made a re-entry on the red carpet to give daughter Sara Ali Khan company.
