'Aamir Khan helped us find a good IVF doctor, his family took care of Jwala Gutta for 10months as she stayed with them,' reveals Vishnu Vishal
Actor Vishnu Vishal and badminton champion Jwala Gutta celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary this April with the happiest news of all, the arrival of their baby girl, Mira. What made the moment even more special was the fact that Mira’s name came from none other than Aamir Khan, who attended her namakaran ceremony in July and chose the name himself. For those not in the know, before finding love with Jwala, Vishnu was married to Rajini Natraj from 2010 to 2018, and they share a son, Aryan, born in 2017. He got engaged to Jwala in 2020, married her in 2021, and in 2025, their family became complete with the arrival of baby Mira. Vishnu is thankful to Aamir as he admitted that the 'Lagaan' actor helped them find an IVF doctor in Mumbai.
In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Vishnu reflected on how content life feels at the moment. “I’m very happy with whatever I have in life today,” he shared. “I already had a son and have a beautiful daughter now. Life is pretty good at this time. I finally have what I’ve always wished for and it makes me happy.”
Interestingly, Vishnu and Aamir’s bond began on professional grounds but soon grew into something far more personal. Back in 2023, when Aamir’s mother, Zeenat Hussain, was undergoing treatment in Chennai, his team reached out to Vishnu for help. “He was in production for a movie then, and they needed me to find a home stay instead of a hotel for 2-3 months so his team would find enough space to work. I remember arranging villas for them to stay, and we became friends from there,” recalls Vishnu.
Over time, that friendship turned into a mentorship of sorts. Vishnu credits Aamir for broadening his outlook on both cinema and life. “His conviction has given me a new perspective towards cinema. I saw a very different man from whom I initially perceived him to be. I always loved him as an actor, but I also saw the empathy and care he has for a lot of people,” he says. “Imagine having the kind of pressure or stature he has in life and to still be that gentle. I learnt from him as a producer, an actor, a father, a husband and a human being.”
But the connection between the two families runs even deeper. Vishnu calls Aamir “the greatest gift God has given” him, and with good reason. He reveals that Jwala had almost given up on having a child and had started exploring adoption before Aamir stepped in to help. “He helped us find a good doctor in Mumbai for IVF treatment for Jwala. And when she became pregnant, it made us very emotional because she had almost given up…he brought back joy into our lives. He treated us like nothing less than family,” Vishnu says emotionally.
“Jwala was in Mumbai with his family for almost ten months, and his mom and sister took care of her personally. They treated her so well. That bond has now evolved into a close friendship. When Jwala became pregnant, I told Aamir he should be the one to name our baby, because he was the one to give us hope,” he added.
On work front, Aamir was last seen in 'Sitaare Zameen Par'.
