Aamir Khan spotted with girlfriend Gauri Spratt at Mumbai airport ahead of Sitaare Zameen Par release
Aamir Khan, who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par, was recently spotted at Mumbai airport with his girlfriend Gauri Spratt. The couple seemed to be heading out of town. And now a video of them walking out of the Mumbai airport has now gone viral on social media. Despite being in a rush, Aamir graciously paused to take selfies with fans, showcasing his signature humility.
While Gauri stepped out of the car first, holding a large pillow and walking swiftly towards the gate, Aamir followed her moments later. Dressed in a red printed kurta and jeans, the actor kept things casual, as did Gauri, who wore a breezy blue short kurti paired with denim jeans.
“Love happened by mistake,” says Aamir about Gauri
Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt have been making headlines ever since the actor introduced her to the media just before his 60th birthday. Recently, during a candid chat with entrepreneur Raj Shamani, Aamir opened up about finding love again after his divorce from Kiran Rao in 2021.
“Before I met Gauri, I felt like I had aged… Who will I find at this age?” he reflected. “Therapy really helped me understand that I needed to love myself first. I had to heal and work on my own emotional health.” He went on to share, “Gauri and I met by mistake. We connected, became friends… and love happened.”
About Sitaare Zameen Par
In another heartwarming development, Aamir revealed that his mother, 90-year-old Zeenat Khan, will be seen in a cameo in Sitaare Zameen Par. Calling it a moment he never expected, Aamir said he was “shocked” but delighted when she agreed to be part of the film.
Billed as the spiritual sequel to Aamir’s 2007 classic Taare Zameen Par, the upcoming film is a sports comedy that stars Genelia Deshmukh alongside Aamir. It also features 10 neurodivergent actors — Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar — in pivotal roles.
Directed by R. S. Prasanna and produced by Aamir Khan, Aparna Purohit, and Ravi Bhagchandka, Sitaare Zameen Par is slated to hit theatres on June 20, 2025.
