Aamir Khan is one of the most successful actors in the movie business having delivered multiple 100 crore, 200 crore and 300 crore hits. But when it comes to his son Junaid, it doesn’t seem he is very much attached to money. The actor who was recently part of News 18’s Amrit Ratna 2023 revealed that his son still uses public transport and doesn’t have a car.
He mentions that his son Junaid is like a school kid who knows everything, he always topped his class but chooses to stay aloof and rarely talks to people. He also shared that his son’s reserved nature was a matter of concern for him and his ex-wife Reena until he joined Rotaract Club in college and started interacting with people. But with all these changes, he didn’t change the way he lead his life. Sharing more about it he mentioned that Junaid is 30 now and since his childhood, he’d wanted to buy him a car. But he hasn’t allowed him yet and still travels by bus and train.
Aamir also shared an anecdote where Junaid travelled by state bus rather than taking a flight out, he mentioned that Junaid was in Pondicherry and was going to Bengaluru for his friend’s wedding and when he asked what is his flight, Junaid replied that he is taking a state bus to go Bengaluru. Aamir also mentioned that if there is one person who he is afraid of , it is his son as he is very strict and ends up scolding him if he is late for his meetings. He also added that for Junaid’s meetings he is always early.
Junaid is very soon going to make his movie debut with Aditya Chopra’s Maharaja which will be streamed on Netflix.
