Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan spotted traveling by an autorickshaw, netizens react

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan’s son, Junaid Khan, who will be making his acting debut with the Netflix film ‘Maharaja’, has won over many fans on the internet once again for his ‘humble’ and ‘down-to-earth’ persona. On Tuesday evening, the star kid was seen riding in an auto in Mumbai. He grinned broadly as he greeted the paparazzi. Netizens expressed admiration for Junaid's modesty and noted that, despite his father being a superstar in the Hindi film industry with an estimated net worth of Rs 1,862 crore, he chooses to lead a modest life.

For his outing, Junaid opted for a casual-cool look as he donned a black t-shirt paired with blue jeans. In a video, shared by a paparazzi account on Instagram, he appeared genuinely shy when paparazzi sought to take his pictures. While one user commented, “Good boy,” another wrote, “Genuine here!”

Junaid, who is gearing up for his debut OTT film ‘Maharaja’, has been preparing for his acting debut for a while now. A trailer that included glimpses from three films, Junaid's feature debut, ‘Vijay 69’ and ‘Mandala Murders’ was released by Netflix last month. Although the faces of the characters from the latter two films were seen in the video, Junaid's appearance in ‘Maharaj’ remained a mystery, suggesting the film's grand scale.

‘Maharaj’ is reported to have been influenced by the 1862 Maharaja Libel Case. It co-stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Sharvari Wagh, and Shalini Pandey in pivotal parts. The central plot is a religious figure suing a newspaper for allegedly having inappropriate relationships with his female followers. According to reports, Junaid is playing the character of a journalist in the film.

During an interview with News18 Showsha, Shalini Pandey talked about her experience of working with Junaid. She said, “Junaid is a very easy breezy human being. He’s a good co-actor to work with. I had a lot of fun working with him. We’re in the same age group, so we had a blast during the shoot. Maharaj is one of his first few projects and so is mine. That’s why we had a very similar energy on set.”
