'Aashram' actress Tridha Choudhury has opened up about the kind of projects she hopes to take on in the future. During a recent interaction the actress spoke about her love for mythology-based stories and shared her desire to be part of a large-scale cinematic adaptation of the Shiva Trilogy. Tridha, who has worked across Hindi, Bengali and Telugu entertainment industries, said the opportunity to feature in such a project would be a dream come true. She also revealed that another major reason behind her excitement is the possibility of working alongside Ranveer Singh.

When IANS asked about the kind of historical or mythological role that would excite her the most, Tridha immediately pointed to the Shiva Trilogy universe. Speaking about her admiration for both the actor and the literary work, she said in the interview, "I recently heard that Ranveer Singh has acquired the rights to the Shiva Trilogy by Amish Tripathi. I would absolutely love to work with Ranveer Singh because I am a huge fan of both Lord Shiva and Ranveer himself. I have read the Shiva Trilogy, and being a part of a mythological film like that would be a dream for me."

Apart from discussing her dream project Tridha also shared her thoughts on what she values most as an actor. According to the actress, genuine appreciation for a performance carries more significance than glamour or appearance. She believes an actor's primary responsibility is to remain true to the character being portrayed. Explaining her perspective, Tridha said, "For me, critical acclaim matters more than glamour because no matter how glamorous you look, if you fail to justify your character, the performance ultimately falls flat."The actress was recently seen in 'Aakhri Sawal', which stars Sanjay Dutt in the lead role.
