Abhishek Sharma and Mahaveer Jain to team up for espionage-action film based on Wuhan virus

Not every filmmaker works on romcoms or epic love stories. Some stick to topical and unconventional projects that have political and social relevance. Abhishek Sharma who has earlier directed films like Ram Setu and Parmanu has now turned his attention to the Wuhan virus and how its quick global spread impacted life in all spheres.
A source revealed that Abhishek Sharma’s film on the Wuhan virus will be an action-espionage, global thriller while it will have the backdrop of the COVID virus, it is not going to be a film on the pandemic. Fans will have to wait for more details to be revealed.

Also on board as producer is Mahaveer Jain, who has worked with the director earlier on the film Ram Setu. Abhishek’s directorial debut was with Tere Bin Laden which had Ali Zafar playing one of the main leads.

Parmanu was with John Abraham and the epic adventure drama Ram Setu was also with the top cast of Akshay Kumar, Nushrratt Bharuccha and Jacqueline Fernandez.

Producer Mahaveer Jain has worked with equally big stars. He has produced the film Uunchai which had Amitabh Bachchan, Parineeti Chopra, Anupam Kher and Boman Irani. He also backed Good Luck Jerry with Janhvi Kapoor.
