Karan Aanand is enjoying the current phase of his career. The actor has won notices for his spy act in the recently-released Baby. Karan also adds that he particularly enjoyed shooting for the hand-to-hand combat sequences with Akshay Kumar, especially since he holds a black belt in the martial art form, Hapkido.

Not just that, his sensitive portrayal of a helpless father in Kick and his performance in Gunday too, were appreciated.

Says Karan, “Sajid Nadiadwala was teasing me the other day that I am a part of only big films. I’m grateful to directors like Sajid bhai, Ali Abbas and Neeraj Pandey for giving me a chance to showcase my talent.”
The actor is now training his sights on the South industry. Writer Chinni Krishna, who has delivered hits with Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi and has launched Allu Arjun, is launching Karan as well in his next. The film will be made in five languages and is produced by Guru Raja Rao. “It’s a dream come true to be launched by Chinni sir,” he concludes.
