Directed by Om Raut, 'Adipurush' is a mythological film based on Hindu epic Ramayana. It stars Prabhas in the role of Raghava, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, Sunny Singh as Lakshmana, Devdatta Nage as Bajrang and Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist Lankesh. The film is mounted on a grand budget of Rs 500 crore and is heavy on VFX. 'Adipurush' is expected to have a grand opening at the box office since the advance booking numbers looked promising. Paying an ode to Lord Hanuman, theatre owners have been asked to leave one seat empty during every screening. The excitement for 'Adipurush' is at its peak and the film will have early morning shows in Telangana starting at 4 AM. ‘Adipurush’ will be released today in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Adipurush box office collection day 1 early prediction: Prabhas-Kriti Sanon starrer to earn Rs 140-150 crore worldwide
If the Telugu version, Hindi circuits and the rest of South are combined, Adipurush is looking to register around Rs 90 crore nett and a gross collection of Rs 110-112 crore on day 1 in India. While the final overseas numbers are yet to be calculated, it is expected to register Rs 140-150 crore worldwide on its opening day.
