Natasha Suri recently met with an accident in
Indonesia
. As she
bungee
jumped from 200 feet, the cord snapped in the middle of the fall. Luckily, the bungee jump was over a lake, so
Natasha fell directly into the waterbody and survived the full force fall. She suffered some minor injuries from this mishap and she was kept under 24-hours observation in a hospital.
Natasha seems to have recovered fully and has been given the all-clear from medical professionals. Her manager said, "Natasha is medically fit and fine now and is discharged from the hospital.”
We spoke to Natasha about the incident and she said, “I am fine now. I fell in deep water luckily. So, I escaped with just minor injuries. Medical tests are also all-clear. I am back in Mumbai and have even resumed shooting for my next film 'Bhanupriya Virgin'. I feel my mother’s spirit is always watching over me and my sisters like a guardian angel and ensuring no harm comes her children’s way. Thank you, everyone, for the love and wishes."
When asked whether she will take a shot at bungee jumping ever again, she said, “Life is very precious. I will be very careful now but I won’t let it make me overtly fearful or kill my spirit. You can’t live like that. The human mind is so powerful; it can overcome anything.” With a chuckle, she added, “I guess in a few months I will itch to try skydiving.”
