Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, proud parents of their daughter Vamika, have joyfully welcomed their second child, a baby boy. Despite keeping their pregnancy under wraps, the couple recently revealed the arrival of their newest family member in a post.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have kept the inspiration behind their son's name, Akaay, undisclosed. However, the name is understood to signify 'body-less' or 'निराकार' in Sanskrit, hinting at a profound spiritual connotation. Derived from the Hindi term 'kaya,' meaning 'body,' Akaay suggests a state beyond physical existence. Additionally, 'Akaay' holds diverse interpretations, representing the fire on a funeral pyre or symbolizing a shining moon in Turkish culture, showcasing its multifaceted significance across different traditions.
In 2021, Kohli demonstrated his commitment to family when, as the captain, he left the Australian Test series after the first match to be present for the birth of his first child with Anushka Sharma.
Initially, the Indian star opted out of the first two Tests against England, following India's loss in the first match in Hyderabad and victory in the second in Vizag. However, he later withdrew from the entire series, citing personal reasons, with the full support of the BCCI.
Kohli and Anushka Sharma tied the knot in 2017. The star couple celebrated the third birthday of Vamika, their daughter, on 11 January 2021.
