Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal are prepping for their upcoming nuptials and have decided to keep everything environment friendly. The couple’s wedding planners will attempt to make the ceremonies environmentally conscious and eco friendly.
For an eco-friendly décor, natural elements, recycled or repurposed wood will be used. Richa and Ali are also focusing on reducing food wastage during all the wedding functions. They will be curating food experiences that are more sustainable and have experts who are known for such experiences. The teams across have been briefed to minimise plastic waste and use recyclable plastic during the functions as much as possible. Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal will tie the knot on October 6 in Mumbai, followed by a grand reception on October 7.
Previously, Dia Mirza had opted for a completely sustainable wedding with Vaibhav Rekhi. The actress used hand-crafted gift baskets and stuck to ‘no food waste' by knowing the exact number of vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Dia and Vaibhav had a zero plastic policy at their wedding and spend extra on glass bottles to serve water. As a bride, Dia decked up in a gorgeous red Banarasi saree, which the actress said she would reuse in the future.
