Varun Dhawan are once again going to collaborate for Dharma productions upcoming next war saga titled 'Rannbhoomi'. As per the buzz, the film is expected to go on floors by the end of this year and might release in Diwali 2020. While the film got postponed, there were several speculations about the project being shelved.
During an interaction, Shashank said that the script is done. The VFX and CG research is going on currently but there's no timeline to the film yet. Also, there was another project- a spy thriller that the
director
had taken up but nothing was concrete. Talking about the spy thriller he averred that the second half of the spy thriller wasn't shaping up the way he had anticipated, and therefore he felt that he had nothing new to portray.
Along with 'Rannbhoomi', Shashank is simultaneously writing another film with Varun. Reportedly, the director is currently concentrating on another project which will be in the same space. It will be another commercial entertainer but not the third part in the Dulhania series.
Meanwhile, Shashank is seen judging a dance reality show and Varun is busy wrapping up the shoot of Remo Dsouza's '
Street Dancer
3D'.
