Ahan Shetty shares adorable ‘mamu on duty’ moment with niece Evaarah, Athiya Shetty reacts with love

Ahan Shetty may be gearing up for major action roles on-screen, but off-screen, the actor is soaking up his newest role, that of a proud mamu. On Monday, the Tadap actor took to Instagram to share a heartwarming glimpse of his bonding time with his sister Athiya Shetty and cricketer KL Rahul’s baby daughter, Evaarah.

The 29-year-old actor posted two tender pictures where he can be seen cradling his sleeping niece in his arms. With sunlight streaming in through the large glass windows and the serene sea visible in the background, the pictures captured a peaceful and intimate moment.

“On duty ����,” Ahan captioned the post, winning hearts across the internet.

Athiya Shetty, clearly moved by the moment, commented lovingly: “Mamu ❤️”

The actor's fans were quick to shower love on the post, praising his gentleness and natural flair with the baby. “Awiee soo cute,” wrote one fan. “The way he is holding the baby stole my heart. @athiyashetty you’ve got the most caring brother,” said another. A third fan simply gushed, “Mamu on duty.” While a fourth praised his demeanor, saying, “Gentleman behavior, already.”

Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul welcomed their daughter Evaarah on March 24 this year. The couple announced her name a few weeks later in a touching Instagram post that read:

“Our baby girl, our everything. �� Evaarah/इवारा ~ Gift of God.”

The name and announcement were met with overwhelming love from fans and friends alike.




Ahan Shetty's upcoming films

While enjoying his off-screen family moments, Ahan is also preparing for an exciting phase in his career. He will next be seen in Border 2, the highly anticipated sequel to JP Dutta’s iconic war film. Last year, Sunny Deol, who returns to the franchise, welcomed Ahan on board with a special message: “Welcoming Fauji @ahan.shetty to the Battalion of #Border2.”

The announcement teaser drew parallels between father Suniel Shetty’s role in the original and Ahan’s entry into the sequel, symbolizing a powerful cinematic baton pass.



In addition to Border 2, Ahan will also star in Sanki, an action-packed venture produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The actor is also set to collaborate with Bunty Aur Babli director Shaad Ali for an upcoming film, promising a diverse slate in his growing filmography.
