Where it all began
It looks like it all began on Karan Johar’s chat show, with the filmmaker informing Vicky that Katrina had said that she would love to work with the ‘Uri’ actor. According to her, they would look good together. Vicky was evidently flattered by the comment. The actor was even seen making the gesture of being love-struck and fainting on the show.
Fun banter
The couple appeared for an interview together where they were expected to talk about different aspects of their life with each other. The format of the show was such that there would be no host but a tape recorder with cassettes with different topics for them to play and answer questions asked in the tape. On the show, Vicky asked Katrina if she had ever imagined that their first chit-chat would be recorded. Katrina laughed and said it is a good place to know the other person.
Public appearances
Vicky and Katrina had the paparazzi on their toes as they were spotted meeting up at various parties around town. They made their first public appearance at a Diwali party hosted by a common friend. They were even seen attending the ‘Shershaah’ screening together.
Apart from these times, Vicky was often spotted visiting his ladylove all throughout the lockdown and even recently. They also reportedly went on a vacation together with their friends.
Still just friends
Despite all the reports doing the rounds, the actors have still not come out in the open about their relationship. The couple has time and again denied being in a romantic relationship and stuck to their ‘just friends’ tag.
Meanwhile, many of their friends and colleagues have directly or indirectly confirmed that they are dating each other and are getting married. It includes celebrities like Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana, Gajraj Rao and most recently, Vicky’s neighbour Krushna Abhishek.

Secret roka ceremony
Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal had a private and special roka ceremony at director Kabir Khan’s home in Mumbai. The ceremony took place on Diwali day as both families considered it to be an auspicious date. Sources had revealed to ETimes that Vicky and Katrina opted to travel in different cars to avoid the paparazzi and media attention.
The ceremony was an intimate affair with only family by the couple's side. While Vicky had his brother Sunny and parents, Kat had her sister Isabelle and mom Suzanne by her side.
The royal wedding
ETimes was the first to inform you that Vicky and Katrina are having a royal fort wedding in Rajasthan. Their wedding festivities will start from December 7 with sangeet, followed by mehendi on December 8 and the nuptials on December 9. The couple will also host a reception on December 10.
The guests will be given a secret code for entry. They will not be allowed to carry their mobile phones after a certain point, so that no pictures or videos are leaked. The couple will be getting married in a court in Mumbai before jetting off to Rajasthan in a chopper to avoid the paparazzi.
