Aishwarya Rai Bachchan rarely makes an appearance but the actress was among the distinguished guests as she joined Prime Minister Narendra Modi, cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar, and Union Ministers Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu and G. Kishan Reddy, who took part in the birth centenary celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh.
During the event, Aishwarya delivered a moving and insightful address touching upon caste, religion, and unity. She highlighted the significance of compassion and humanity, sharing a heartfelt message with the audience. In her speech, Aishwarya said, "There is only one caste, the caste of humanity. There is only one religion, the religion of love. There is only one language, the language of the heart, and there is only one God, and he is omnipresent."
She further added, "Swami once said, ‘Education should not be for a living, but it is and should be for life’. The Sri Sathya Sai Baba education system is a shining example of this truth. From Bal Vikas programs to value-based schools, colleges, and even a free multidisciplinary university serving thousands of students every year free of cost, without discrimination and rooted in values."

His teachings and humanitarian work impacted countless lives. He passed away on April 24, 2011, at 84, but his followers worldwide continue to honour his legacy with deep reverence.
