Ajay Devgn celebrates #15YearsOfApaharan: The intensity in characters made this movie a memorable one

Ajay Devgn and Prakash Jha collaborated for a hard hitting crime thriller ‘Apaharan’ on Decemebr 2, 2005. Set against the backdrop of a kidnapping racket, the film starred Bipasha Basu and Nana Patekar in pivotal roles. Celebrating #15YearsOfApaharan today, Ajay Devgn posted on Twitter, “The cast, the plot, the intensity in characters made this movie a memorable one.” Ajay also shared a clip from the movie which encompassed several emotional and important scenes from the film.



This month, Ajay Devgn will start work on his next directorial venture titled ‘Mayday’. Revealing details about the venture, a source had told Mumbai Mirror, “From December 11, Ajay jumps on to his directorial, Mayday, which reunites him with Amitabh Bachchan after almost eight years, with his De De Pyaar De co-star, Rakul Preet Singh, , as his co-pilot. They will be shooting non-stop till January-end.”

Soon after this venture, Ajay Devgn will start the shooting for his sports drama ‘Maidaan’. A huge set, which includes a football arena is being set up on 16 acre land on the outskirts of Mumbai. Directed by Amit Ravidrenath Sharma, the film features Priyamani in the female lead role.
