Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna’s son Aarav Bhatia makes rare public appearance with cousin Simar Bhatia at Huma Qureshi's Eid bash

Aarav Bhatia, son of Bollywood power couple Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna, made a rare public appearance at Huma Qureshi's star-studded Eid party and instantly grabbed attention. Looking effortlessly stylish, Aarav arrived with his cousin Simar Bhatia, the daughter of Akshay's real sister Alka Bhatia.

The duo was spotted arriving together, with Aarav carrying a gift for the hosts. Always one to keep a low profile, he was all smiles as paparazzi captured the moment. Later, the two were seen exiting the party and getting into a car, appearing cheerful and unfazed by the camera flashes.

Simar previously made a striking red carpet appearance alongside Akshay at an award function. For the event, Akshay sported a white shirt paired with a cream blazer and matching pants, accessorised with sunglasses and colourful shoes. Simar chose a long dress and heels for the evening. It was one of the rare occasions where the two were seen together in public. Simar is all set to make her mark in Bollywood with Ikkis this year.

Aarav wins hearts with simplicity

Despite being the son of a celebrated actor, Aarav has consistently stayed away from the limelight and shown no inclination toward Bollywood. In a past interview, Akshay Kumar revealed that Aarav is passionate about fashion design, a far cry from the film sets that shaped his father’s career.

“I am happy the way Twinkle and I have brought up Aarav; he is a very simple boy,” Akshay had shared. “We never forced him to do anything. He is interested in fashion; he doesn’t want to be a part of cinema.”

The Hera Pheri star also spoke about Aarav’s self-reliance, sharing how his son manages his chores independently. “He does his own laundry, he is a good cook, does the utensils and doesn't even want to buy expensive clothes,” Akshay said with pride.




Aarav left home at 15, studying in London

Aarav’s journey toward independence began early. At just 15, he left home to pursue higher education abroad, a decision that Akshay initially resisted but later embraced. Aarav currently studies at a university in London.

Twinkle Khanna, known for her witty charm and pragmatic parenting, has often emphasized self-reliance in raising their children. She once revealed that she funds their education from her own savings, underlining the importance of financial responsibility.



Akshay and Twinkle share two children - Aarav, born in 2002, and Nitara, born in 2012. While Nitara occasionally features in Twinkle’s social media updates, Aarav continues to maintain a low profile.
