Akshay Kumar has the cutest reaction to Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif's pregnancy announcement: 'Bas baby ko Punjabi aur English...'
Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal finally made it official that they are expecting their first baby. After days and months of speculations and rumours, the couple shared the most adorable photo on the gram where Katrina's baby bumb is quite visible. Both of them are twinning in white as Vicky holds her baby bump. Just as they dropped the pregnancy news, the caption was, "On our way to start the best chapter of our lives with hearts full of joy and gratitude.
ॐ"
Just as this announcement came, celebs showered love and wishes on the couple. Deepika Padukone dropped 'evil eye protection' emojis while Anushka Sharma wrote, "Congratulations ❤️" Kajol dropped hearts while Priyanka Chopra wrote, "soooo happy for you both." Ranveer Singh, Parineeti Chopra, Kriti Sanon and others dropped congratulatory wishes. Kareena Kapoor Khan also shared the news on her story and felt overjoyed for the couple.
But Akshay Kumar had the cutest and funniest reaction. The actor who has worked with Katrina in so many movies and also has called her his favourite actress to work with, commented on their post. Akshay wrote, "So totally happy for you Katrina and Vicky. Knowing you, I can say that you two will make the best parents. Bas baby ko English aur Punjabi equally sikhaana ;) Lots of love and blessings. Jai Mahadev."
A few months ago a viral Reddit post further sparked these rumours. This post saw a picture of Vicky and Katrina along with a graphic image of baby footprints. The caption read, "In 2025, we become a family of three." The post also claimed that the baby is due in October or November 2025. A report by NDTV had also confirmed a source stating that the baby is due in October or November. The same portal also quoted this source saying that Katrina is set to take a long maternity break once the baby arrives as she wishes to be a hands-on mother.
