Appearing on Aap Ki Adalat to promote his upcoming courtroom drama 'Jolly LLB 3', the superstar candidly admitted, “Meri favourite heroine… actually maine sabhi ke saath kaam kiya hua hai (I have worked with everyone in the industry).” After a brief pause, he smiled and added one name that lit up the conversation — “Katrina.”

A beloved on-screen pairing

The revelation may not surprise fans, given Akshay and Katrina's incredible legacy as one of Bollywood’s most loved on-screen duos. Together, they have headlined eight films. Their beginning was with 'Humko Deewana Kar Gaye' (2006) which was a romantic drama that set the stage for their chemistry. But it was 'Namastey London' (2007) that turned their pairing into pure box-office magic. With Akshay portraying the rustic yet endearing Arjun and Katrina as the independent Londoner Jasmeet, the film connected with audiences for its mix of romance, humour, and patriotic emotion.

Several hits together - from 'Welcome' to 'Sooryavanshi'

The duo’s success streak continued with back-to-back blockbusters like Welcome (2007), 'Singh is Kinng' (2008), and 'De Dana Dan' (2009), where their effortless comic timing drew audiences in droves.
