The film will also star her beau Ranbir Kapoor and for the first time, they will collaborate on-screen. Alia while speaking to a media house cleared about the rumours related to the film and also praised boyfriend Ranbir for his acting talent. She said that 'Brahmastra' is not a superhero film but is a movie that still an emerging concept. Alia also expressed that the film is Ayan’s vision and they all have faith in it. She was adamant that 'Brahmastra' is a film that will make the film industry proud and will also put Bollywood on the global map.
As an innovative promotional strategy, the team 'Brahmastra' unveiled their logo at
Kumbh Mela 2019, where 150 drones lit up and made Brahmastra’s logo in the sky. Ayan also introduced Alia and Ranbir's character name as Isha and Shiv respectively.
Alia also went on to add about the importance of 'Brahmastra' in the mythology and mentioned that it was used in ancient wars of Ramayana and
Mahabharata
. She said that audience will understand the relation between mythology and 'Brahmastra' as the story unfolds in the film.
'Brahmastra' releases during Christmas this year.
