Alia Bhatt to collaborate with 'Stree 2' producer Dinesh Vijan for a supernatural horror thriller: Report

Alia Bhatt is currently shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Love And War' with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. Alia has also been simultaneously keeping busy with her spy thriller universe with YRF, co-starring Sharvari. And now, a latest report suggests that Alia is in talks with Dinesh Vijan to be a part of his horror comedy universe, which has films like 'Stree', 'Stree 2', 'Munjya', 'Bhediya'.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, a source was quoted, "Alia has always discussed multiple feature films with Dinesh Vijan and is now on the verge of collaborating with the producer. The actress has loved a psychological supernatural thriller, which could be her next after Love And for the big screen. The talks are on, and things are expected to be on paper by the first quarter of 2025." The actress has given bulk dates to Bhansali for 'Love And War' till November 2025.

The report further states that this horror thriller has been titled 'Chamunda' and is currently in the writing stage. Earlier it was reported that Kiara is also set to join Vijan's horror comedy universe with a film titled 'Devi'. And now reports of Alia being a part of this universe will further just expand this one. Horror comedies and thrillers are the current favourite flavour as one saw with 'Stree 2' being the highest grossing movie.
Meanwhile, Alia was last seen in 'Jigra' which was also produced by her and saw Vedang Raina along with the actress.
