Ameesha Patel breaks silence on catfights in Bollywood as she reacts to Bipasha Basu’s old body-shaming remark: ‘I’ve never pulled people down’

Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel recently spoke about the most discussed ‘catfights’ in Bollywood and her cold war with Bipasha Basu, after both of them took a dig at each other during an old appearance on Karan Johar’s Koffee with Karan. She admitted that she has had no ‘catfights’ with anyone.

In a recent interview with Filmymantra, Ameesha was asked about the supposed catfight between Kareena Kapoor Khan, Bipasha Basu, and herself. The 'Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai' actress shared that she had no such fight with anyone but acknowledged that many rumours have been spread about her.

When asked about Bipasha Basu body-shaming her during one of the Koffee with Karan episodes, Ameesha said, “I never gave an answer. I think the insecurities inside, you take them out and voice them. However, you shouldn't do it on a public platform, which is what I feel. But they did, and to each his own. In fact, when Lara (Dutta) and Bipasha said this on Koffee with Karan…”

Ameesha revealed that she was supposed to appear on the talk show with Arjun Rampal, but unfortunately, he fell ill days before the show, and they could not appear together. “Karan had asked me, 'What would you like to say next week on the show?' I said, 'Karan, no comments. I don't comment.' And he turned around and said, 'Oh, your typical well-bred South Bombay manners.' I said, 'Yes, I am like that. I don’t, I’ve never in my career retaliated and pulled people down. People have done that to me, but I’ve never done it. I’ve never stooped that low, and I don’t believe in it,’” she further added.
