Ameesha Patel on her relationship with Priyanka Chopra after replacing her in 'Humraaz': We are professionals, 'Aisi koi baat nahi hai'

Ameesha Patel stepped in for Priyanka Chopra Jonas in the film Humraaz, which featured Bobby Deol and Akshaye Khanna and became a box-office success. Although rumours once hinted at the tension between the two actresses, Ameesha recently stated in an interview that she shares a strong and friendly bond with Priyanka.





Working Together on 'Aap Ki Khatir'






In a conversation with Filmy Mantra, Ameesha addressed her relationship with Priyanka while filming 'Aap Ki Khatir'. She mentioned working with actresses such as Lara Dutta in 'Elaan' and Rani Mukerji in 'Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic' and 'Mangal Pandey: The Rising' without feeling insecure. Ameesha emphasized that the connection between actors is clear in their on-screen chemistry.





On-Screen Chemistry and Professionalism






When asked once more about her connection with Priyanka, Ameesha said, “I had great chemistry with all my actors. Not meaning to pick her in particular, but with all my actors, and I think you will see that on-screen.” She added that even while working on ensemble projects like 'Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd', she never faced any conflicts with her co-stars.





Connection After Replacing Priyanka in 'Humraaz'






When questioned about her relationship with Priyanka following the replacement in 'Humraaz', Patel responded, “We had a great camaraderie, and we are thorough professionals. And she is also a thorough professional and aisi koi baat nahi thi.”

Ameesha also stated that whenever she steps in to replace another actor in a movie, the film often becomes a major success. She expressed contentment with this and said she is perfectly fine being the second option, as it has consistently worked out well for her.
