Amidst these rumours, Sanya has opened up on love in recent interview. She said in a chat with Pinkvilla, "I do believe in having a companion for sure."

Further elaborating on how having a companion can change one's life, she said, "I don’t know. I think it makes life beautiful. Maybe it’s love—it’s always nice to share love." She added, "Love is such a beautiful feeling. I’m sure it’s beautiful, and, you know, a lot of people."
