Vinod Khanna's funeral, on Thursday evening. The two, co-starred in hit films of the time like 'Amar Akbar Anthony', 'Parvarish', 'Khoon Pasina', 'Muqaddar Ka Sikander', and also shared a great bond off-screen as well.

heard the news of Vinod Khanna's passing while he was busy with media interactions for his upcoming film '
Sarkar 3'. He excused himself from the interviews mid-way and rushed from the venue to offer his condolences to the Khanna family. Later in the same evening, he attended the star's last rites and finally bid adieu to his colleague, who was more of a friend to him.
After the funeral, Amitabh posted an emotional note on Twitter and his blog, remembering his dear friend. He shared a touching poem written by
Prasoon Joshi and with a heavy heart said that today he saw their "48 year relationship going up in flames".
