Amitabh Bachchan has a towering personality, but because of his envious height, the veteran actor was referred to as ‘camel’. Sharinga throwback picture from the sets of his second movie ‘Reshma aur Shera’, Big B wrote about being called in ‘unnt’ in his initial days.
“When I came to join films in 1969 all of them used to call me ‘ऊँट’ (unnt) ! .. so I thought I would justify that and mounted one ����. This is from my 2nd film ‘Reshma aur Shera’ .. location Pochina , miles into the desert beyond Jaisalmer ..Now fortunately they don’t call me that … the titled epithet has been usurped by several others,” the veteran actor wrote on Instagram. Directed by Sunil Dutt, ‘Reshma Aur Shera’ released in 1971 and featured Big B, along with Waheeda Rehman, Vinod Khanna, Raakhee, Ranjeet, and Amrish Puri.
On Monday, Big B also tweeted a series of pictures from his weekly meeting with fans. He was seen waving to a sea of fans who always gather outside his bungalow Jalsa, on Sundays, to get a glimpse of their favourite actor.On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan has ‘The Intern’ remake with Deepika Padukone and Nag Ashwin’s Poject K in the pipeline.
