On the eve of one of her most anticipated releases, 'Saiyaara', actress Aneet Padda poured her heart out in a deeply moving tribute to the team behind the film—especially its director, Mohit Suri.

The romantic drama, which also marks Ahaan Panday’s debut, hit theatres on July 18, 2025. But before the lights dimmed and the curtains rose, Aneet took a moment to reflect on the journey that led her here.


In a personal Instagram note, she wrote, “I met a man named Mohit Suri. He sees love the way few do and understands pain in a way that feels honest and true.” Her words struck a chord with many, resonating with fans of Suri’s emotionally rich filmmaking style that has given Bollywood some of its most haunting love stories.

A Team That Built Dreams

Aneet’s note didn’t stop at Mohit. She also lovingly credited the creative team that built Saiyaara’s soul.

From cinematographer Vikas Sivaraman who captured the film’s ethereal visuals, to writer Sankalp Sadanah who gave voice to emotion, and producer Aditya Chopra who anchored the vision—Aneet made sure every effort was acknowledged. “They stayed up through nights and made something new,” she said, calling the experience transformative.

Her gratitude extended to the entire cast and crew for believing in the story and pushing through the long nights and challenges that came with it. For Aneet, this wasn’t just a film—it was the result of shared belief, sleepless passion, and creative fearlessness.

A Career Slowly Blossoming

Before Saiyaara, Aneet Padda made waves in Salaam Venky and then starred in 'Girls Don’t Cry', proving her versatility. But Saiyaara marks a turning point—her first major romantic lead in a film that blends Mohit Suri’s signature emotional depth with Yash Raj Films’ grandeur.

She ended her tribute with, “You’re a beautiful human being, Mohit Suri. Thank you for sharing your heart with the world—and with me”. The film is currently running in theatres with decent reviews.
