Having portrayed Ranbir Kapoor's sister in 'Animal', she admits to being initially unaware of the film's entirety, leading to a profound astonishment upon watching it. Anshul confessed needing a second viewing to grasp the complexity, emphasizing the surprise and joy in being associated with a project that surpassed her expectations.



In a candid interview with Indian Express, the actress delved into her encounters with acting powerhouses, Anshul praised Kangana Ranaut's brilliance and discipline, noting how she learned from Kangana Ranaut's ability to embody characters effortlessly and execute scenes flawlessly. Her portrayal alongside Ranbir Kapoor in 'Animal' is highlighted by admiration for his expressive eyes and contagious energy, attributing her impactful performance to Kapoor's compelling acting style. Anshul emphasized the rarity of Kapoor's inclusive approach on set, where he prioritized the involvement and collaboration of all actors, irrespective of their roles' scale.


Despite previous appearances in notable projects like 'Zero' and 'Tejas', Anshul expressed gratitude for the recognition she's finally receiving with 'Animal', even though her role was relatively smaller compared to her past endeavors. However, she admitted disappointment over the lukewarm response to 'Tejas', a film she anticipated would provide her with substantial recognition due to its unique focus on women in action roles.
