Anshuman Jha becomes father to a baby girl Tara

Anshuman Jha, the acclaimed actor, is brimming with joy as he steps into fatherhood with the birth of his daughter, Tara. The ‘Lakadbaggha’ fame star and his wife Sierra Winters were emotionally overwhelmed when their family welcomed their baby girl on March 10 in US.

During an interview with Hindustan Times, Jha expressed the whirlwind of emotions, saying the last 48 hours have been a blur as it was a long labor. He described the experience as surreal, something he had never felt before.


In America, where gender reveals are common, the 38-year-old actor and his wife opted to keep Tara's gender a surprise, preceding any sex determination tests. Reflecting on the days leading up to Tara's arrival, Jha shared, that his wife went into labor on Mahashivratri night (March 8), even though the due date was March 14. celebrated as Pi Day. Considering the same, they would affectionately call their baby 'Pi'.

Sharing his love and contentment he mentioned that he truly believes women are the smartest being on the planet and is grateful to have a daughter.



With Sierra's family residing in the US, the couple chose to welcome their first child with her parents nearby. The actor who lost his parents in 2020, concluded the conversation by sharing that having grandparents can make a big difference.
