“I started work around August-September with shows and films that were already underway. There were pending portions to be completed. I wrapped up those and I’ve now started working on fresh assignments. From what I have experienced, the new normal is great in many ways. People have learnt how to observe basic and essential hygiene everywhere. Basic rules like not jumping queues and minding one’s own work are being observed stringently. Yes, I think the new normal is daunting for the support staff on the sets. Make-up artists and hairdressers are finding it damn tough to function in those PPE kits. But we have to adapt to the new ways of life. There is no point complaining. If we don’t act precautiously, we won’t have a chance to rebuild things tomorrow. I think fear has ensured that people help one another, be careful because right now, caring for another is caring for yourself.”
