Malaika Arora's father passed away Anil Kuldeep Mehta passed away on September 11 and the reason for the death is allegedly suicide. The police has said that he jumped off his balcony from the 6th floor at the Ayesha Manor building in Bandra. His last rites have begun at the Santacruz Hindu crematorium as the family and their friends have reached there.
Malaika Arora was seen consoling her mother who had broken down completely. Meanwhile, Malaika herself seemed shattered and her son Arhaan was supporting her. Amrita, Malaika with their mother Joyce reached the crematorium with Arhaan.
Meanwhile, Arbaaz who was one of the first few to visit them yesterday as soon as the news broke, arrived for the funeral with his wife Sshura Khan.
Yesterday, one also saw Salim Khan, Sushila Charak, Helen, Sohail Khan, Alvira Agnihotri, Arpita Khan at Malaika's family home where this incident took place.

According to a report in News18, the post mortem report of Anil Mehta states that he passed away due to multiple injuries. Malaika had shared a statement from the family on social media which read, "We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear father, Anil Mehta. He was a gentle soul, a devoted grandfather, a loving husband, and our best friend. Our family is in deep shock by this loss, and we kindly request privacy from the media and well-wishers during this difficult time. We appreciate your understanding, support, and respect."
