Arbaaz Khan attends Malaika Arora's father Anil Mehta's prayer meet - Pics

Malaika Arora's ex-husband Arbaaz Khan on Friday evening, was spotted among the few celebrities, arriving at her family home for a prayer meeting in honour of her late father, Anil Mehta.

Videos of his visit to the Arora family's residence went viral online. The visuals from the private prayer service saw the producer arriving in a simple kurta, looking rather emotional as he made his way to the prayer meet.

Though he and Malaika parted ways in 2017, he has been maintaining a cordial relationship with the actress as they co-parent their son. He has also maintained a close bond with Malaika's family.

Besides Arbaaz, the entire Khan family from Salman Khan to Arpita Khan Sharma, Sohail Khan and Alvira Khan have been spotted arriving at the actress' residence over the past three days to offer their condolences and lend their support to the grieving family in these difficult times.

Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Salman Khan's sister Alvira Khan, Arbaaz and Malaika's son Arhaan Khan, and many others were spotted at the residence today.

Although Salman didn't attend the funeral and last rite rituals, he was seen arriving at the family's residence late Thursday evening to pay his respects.

Ever since the sudden death of Anil Mehta, those close to the Mehta family have been lending their support to the grieving family, who in an official statement said, "Our family is in deep shock by this loss, and we kindly request privacy during this difficult time.”

Anil Mehta died on September 11 by apparent suicide. An initial autopsy report stated 'multiple injuries' as the cause of death. He was cremated on September 12 in the presence of his family members and a few close friends.

Several Bollywood stars, including Arjun Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, Farah Khan, and others also attended the last rites ceremony and paid their final respects.
